Hey guys, counting it down... just a few weeks until reunion! I still can't believe it's been 20 years. Can't wait to see everyone.
I know the economy has tanked, and money is tight. Can't afford the $50 per ticket to come? Here are a few ideas of ways you could find a few bucks. (I know Grete put a deadline on the money, but we won't turn you away at the door, I promise.)
1. Garage sale. If you're like me, you need to get rid of some old stuff anyway.
2. Donate plasma. Don't scoff. You can make some nice bank: $65 a week for two donations. That's over $20/hour you can earn while reading a book or watching a movie. If you're in Provo/Orem, call Talecris at (801) 377-1243 to make a new donor appointment, and tell them Maritta Coppieters sent you.
3. Sell off your old CDs, DVDs, and video games. Or sell your kids' CDs, DVDs, and video games, ha ha. Try a disc exchange shop or ebay.
4. ebay. Speaking of ebay, sell something on it. Those Star Wars action figures are worth something now.
5. Scrap metal. I once took an old motorcycle to a scrap metal yard. They gave me $50. Check your parents' back yard - there may be some old beater car you can sneak away with in the dead of night. But make sure it's not a classic!!! Don't be scrapping a '69 Dodge Charger!
Ok, that's only 5 ideas not 50, but you get the picture. We want to see you next month! And if all else fails, just come to the park in the afternoon on the 15th and hang out.
See you soon... Maritta

New deadline: July 15
Hello everyone....
We are getting a lot more RSVP's, but if you haven't sent yours in you need to do it quickly! We have reset the deadline for July the 15th. If your $ is not recieved by then, the RSVP cost will go up to 60$ per person as we have to confirm expected numbers with the facility and caterer and added numbers will cause us to incur increased costs. We are looking forward to catching up with you!
